Gone With The Breeze...

Yes she loved him.. She loved him only because she had no one except him. He was her best friend, her soul, her everything! Her love was nowhere in comparison to what a mother feels while embracing her child for the first time. But she included him in her everyday prayers, her mornings were bright at the first thought of his and her nights were equally satisfying.. Each passing moment brought her more close to him. She could not remember the last time when she did not feel the fragrance of his love, his playful whisper.. Seems like a perfect love story for a perfect couple written by a not so perfect writer! But nothing is perfect in this mundane existence. Because SHE loved him.. And she did not know whether he did. She liked this tinge of imperfection, this feeling of excitement that may be he did. And today was the day...
He was coming in the evening today. and there was something special he had said.. Oh!!! How elated she was! And who knows that better than the flowers which she had arranged for umpteen number of times. He liked flowers. Her house was not something to be proud of but it was a "Home" for her. Her humble means but her abundant emotions made her home look beautiful today! How much she missed her mother today she knew because she had learnt that "a man's heart can be won through his stomach".. She giggled!! And now was the task she wanted to be perfectly done. She wanted to dress up like a Lady for her Man.. She was not enamored with an angelic beauty but her smile could set all your troubles away. Her eyes were her biggest traitors! They were the mirror of her heart. She put on a white flowing dress and neatly tied her tresses. Simple yet elegant... Looking into the mirror she was satisfied at her attempt. Something was missing.. Her smile.. She smiled and the moment glowed. Lost in the moment she suddenly remembered the flowers. Oh!! They must have gone dry! She checked each and everyone of them, caressed them.. She wanted it to be perfect!
It was midnight and still there was no sign of his coming. He always does that!! But today she is going to take all the revenge. A revenge he will love, which will bring them more closer, which will make him feel her passion, her softness.. Her excitement did not die down a bit and she rose only to check the flowers again. Suddenly she heard the door bell rang! Her heart started pounding fast, her smile widened and she rushed to the door on;y to be in his arms!! She opened the door and it found the guard standing with a bouquet of flowers and a letter. With mixed feelings she opened the letter..
She cried and cried. She had lost the meaning of her life. Silently she tore all the flowers and with those wet eyes she was lost.. She was lost at that moment, in the present and forever..
The night seemed calm again with a gentle breeze blowing.. Gone With That Breeze were the petals of the flowers and the letter which said..
"Hey Dear,
Sorry! Could not turn up today. Wanted to give you a surprise. I am in love and we have decided to be "man and lady". Will you be my best man at my wedding because you are the only one I have! Will be waiting for your reply..
Take care.. "

I Miss...

If it's a poetry, with words carved so pure..
I miss the rhythm, and the bonding for sure.

If it's a love letter, with a lover's playfulness..
I miss the soul, and the gentle caressness.

If it's a prayer, so pious so divine..
I miss the transition that unites with the prime.

If it's a dream, with pleasant moments to remember..
I miss the sleep, but why i wonder??

Lost in the ocean, trying to find a place..
Wandering and wandering, a Drop knows its fate..

And it moves on...

A journey was to begin in more ways than one. The tired and gentle breeze, the noise and clutter and the not so visible moon. Rushing through the crowd were two curious eyes searching for something. Silent eyes.. Yet spoke so much to evoke a pain in one's heart, to know you all!! They were Her eyes.. Like a blank white paper she was.. Blank like a cute little innocent child. white like the soothing and relaxing moon and a paper where all the colors of life found place.. She found her destination. It was S9-43. But her search was not over yet. Because she was to find something more meaningful.. So many emotions were jostling in her mind. A feeling of excitement, of an unwanted fear, of achievements and of loneliness.. She wanted to tell the world how content she was but that felling of incompleteness awakened her. While going through all these, she saw the train coming. Slowly like a python emerging from the giant tunnel engulfing everything that was coming on its way. It was the scene that has evoked the imagination of many a painters, writers, poets and prosaic! The hustle and bustle, the rush to occupy places, the shouts and the cries and then the only noise that followed-- that of a long journey..
She sighed with relief for having got her place but at the same time she knew it was going to be tough. Sitting opposite her was someone who though unfamiliar seemed familiar. She was delighted with the companionship and wanted to soothe her preoccupied mind. He was of same age as hers and had small intuitive searching eyes.. They found solace and serenity in each other's company. And shared many things.. They were going to the same place for the same cause. They did not realize the pace of the train. they wanted it that way. Slow but steady as there was so much to share, so much to know, so much to hide only to let the other find it.. He liked her sophisticated simplicity with that smile that was filling every empty corner of his heart. He did not want that journey to get complete and it was not... He wanted it to get evolved into a new journey of their life to be completed by them TOGETHER.. And maybe it will...
It was a journey in more ways than one.. And it moves on...
